The Industry division of the Op den Velde Group is a total supplier for machine factories and the process industry. The department realized the completely new webshop / B2B portal and the customized KMS (Clothing Management System). And, not unimportantly: extensive integration with SAP: ‘All the data you see on the webshop comes from SAP’.

Approach
As a first step, we set up a Magento Open Source installation and migrated existing product data. Next, a complete B2B webshop integration was set up with their existing SAP Business One administration for synchronization of inventory, prices, customers, and orders.

Once ODVI had the taste for it, it was time for even more automation and digitalization. Thus, in the following months, we realized an OCI punchout catalog with SAP Ariba, a Clothing Management System for a number of large clients. Are we done? As far as Op Den Velde is concerned, not anytime soon!

This enables them to search faster within the webshop and ensures that the correct references are always on their order and delivery documents.
